Another Magical Stay at the Ultimate Ham Radio Paradise!

This is the second time we’ve come to this enchanting place to enjoy the magic of Finnish nature. This time, we were a group of four —myself (I2GPT, Vic), my wife, and a couple of our close friends - and the experience was absolutely flawless for everyone, both hams and

non-hams alike! The wooden house is comfortable, perfectly organized, and sits just a few meters from the lake. It provides the perfect backdrop for a relaxing holiday where you can go fishing, use the rowboat, and, best of all, enjoy an authentic Finnish sauna. Truly wonderful! As a radio amateur, operating from the OH73ELK Shack is an absolute dream come true. The radio station is top-tier, exceptionally complete, and boasts a great multiplicity of high-performance antennas. With zero local QRM and a spectacular location, working the bands here and generating massive pile-ups is pure joy. A huge thank you to the hosts for creating such a splendid place where breathtaking nature and amateur radio sync so perfectly. Thanks to Raisa and Alex for their wonderful assistance and friendship. We still remember the dinner we had together.
We are already looking forward to our third visit!
